Great public event from our Tehama County Health Service Agency partners!

FREE Drive-Thru Flu Vaccine Clinic this Saturday October 17th, 2026, from 9AM to 12PM.

Location: 1850 Walnut St., Red Bluff CA 96080 - Tehama County Government Center

Everyone over 6 months old, including pregnant women, should get a flu vaccine. Wear loose fitting clothing that can easily expose the upper arm.

Please leave your pets at home!

No appointment or insurance needed!

Fall is here, and the Tehama County Sheriff's Office is ready to help your little pumpkins get into the Halloween spirit! Bring the kiddos down to the Tehama County Sheriff's Office lobby at 22840 Antelope Blvd. in Red Bluff to pick out a FREE pumpkin from the Sheriff's office farm pumpkin patch! 🎃

Where: TCSO Main office, 22840 Antelope Blvd., Red Bluff
🕒 When: Any time during regular business hours, while pumpkins last
Cost: FREE! (Limit 1 pumpkin per child)

REMINDER!! The Tehama County Sheriff, Dave Kain, will be holding a series of Public Safety Forums throughout Tehama County. The purpose of these meetings is to have direct interaction with the
public to discuss the functions of the Sheriff’s Office, current and future staffing projections, department accomplishments, budgetary limitations, equipment, programs and crime statistics. The Sheriff will also allow this to be an open forum for questions and answers.

For the public’s convenience the three meetings have been scheduled for the following dates, times, and locations:

October 14th 6-8 PM at Los Molinos Veterans Hall, 7980 Sherwood Blvd, Los Molinos

October 20th 6-8 PM at the Red Bluff Veterans Hall, 735 Oak Street, Red Bluff

October 22nd 6-8 PM at the Bowman Community Church, 18335 Bowman Road, Cottonwood

UPDATE:
Fatal January TRAX collision deemed homicide.

On October 2, 2026, a burglary was reported in the Reeds Creek area, during which multiple items were reported stolen, including a 2019 Can-Am side-by-side, black in color with blue accents.

The vehicle is believed to have been stolen on October 1, 2026, at approximately 10:39 p.m. by an unidentified suspect.

Security camera footage captured a suspect wearing:

A red hat with an unknown logo
A black Fox Racing jersey
Orange gloves
Blue jeans

If you recognize the suspect, have information regarding the stolen Can-Am, or have surveillance footage from the Reeds Creek area around the time of the theft, please contact The Tehama County Sheriffs Office.

Please do not approach or confront anyone you believe may be involved. Instead, contact law enforcement and provide any information you may have.

Charges:
1. 11378 HSC – Possession of methamphetamine for sale
2. 11379 HSC – Transportation of methamphetamine

Summary:

On Monday 9/28/2026, Detectives and Agents with the Tehama Major Crimes Unit served a search warrant in the 22000 block of South Powerhouse Road in Manton. Detectives and Agents located one pound of methamphetamine packaged for sale along with digital scales and other indicia of drug sales.

Detectives and Agents arrested Glenn Goodwin and booked him into the Tehama County Jail.

Anyone with information related to this investigation or any drug sales in Tehama County is encouraged to contact the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit at (530) 529-7920.
