School Resource Deputy Johnson is on the job!

Across Stanislaus County, six deputies are assigned to schools in both contract cities and county jurisdictions. The School Resource Deputy assignment is one of the most sought-after positions within the Sheriff’s Office, reflecting the importance of the role and the strong relationships these deputies build with students, staff, families, and school communities.

We thank our School Resource Deputies for their continued dedication and commitment to keeping our schools safe and fostering positive relationships within the communities they serve.

During the operation, officers conducted 70 traffic stops and issued 65 citations. Three drivers were cited for being unlicensed or driving with a suspended license, and their vehicles were subsequently towed.

Riverbank Police Services appreciates the continued efforts of the CITE team in promoting traffic safety throughout our county. We would also like to thank our partner agencies in Ceres, Patterson, and Newman for their assistance and continued collaboration.

Every speed limit is in place for a reason—to protect lives. Choosing to slow down helps keep our roads safer for drivers, passengers, cyclists, and pedestrians alike.

Our deputies are committed to traffic safety, but preventing crashes starts with every driver making safe choices behind the wheel. Slow down, obey the posted speed limits, and help us keep our community safe.
