Our activities include providing support for the school staff during registration days, dances, proctoring AP testing, and the homecoming fair. In addition, we plan and provide special faculty and staff luncheons throughout the year. We are always in need of donations and volunteers to assist with these luncheons. If you would like to help out, please e-mail us at [email protected]. SCHOLARSHIPS
Riverside Poly High PTSA created a scholarship program to (1) assist Poly High seniors in meeting the rising expenses of a college education; and (2) acknowledge outstanding service by high school seniors to their school and community. The program is open to all seniors who meet the minimum grade point average and who will pursue higher education at a professional technical/trade school, community college, or university. All applicants must be current PTSA members - ASB membership does not fulfill this requirement. The main emphasis in awarding scholarships, though, is placed on the applicant’s history of volunteerism within their school environment and their community. FUNDRAISING
Poly PTSA is now a part of Provident Bank Community Advantage and Partnership Programs. If you have an account at Provident Bank, you can assign Poly PTSA as the non-profit organization that you would like to help. Through the Provident Partnership Program, Provident will donate to Poly PTSA a percentage of the balances on these linked accounts. In order to assign Poly PTSA as your non-profit partner, you must have the correct name on our account, which is “Polytechnic High Riverside PTSA”. ASSOCIATION MEETINGS
All interested parents may attend our Association Meetings. They are open to the general membership.
