BEWARE!!! THEY ARE AT IT AGAIN!!!

Scammers are once again calling claiming to be Rock Hill Police Officers and demanding money for fines/warrants/tickets/missed jury duty. We do not do this. If you get a call from anyone claiming to be Officer Banks or another Officer from the Rock Hill Police Department trying to get money from you, DO NOT SEND THEM ANY!!!

Even if you think the call is legitimate, the appropriate action is to contact local law enforcement to verify.

We’ve wrapped up another successful Ground School and we're proud to send this great group of seven trainees to the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy today.

Final Update: The roadway is now open.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Due to an overturned dump truck, the southbound lanes of Porter Road are shut down near I-77. Traffic will be diverted down to Mount Holly Road (901) until the truck can be moved. Find an alternate route to avoid traffic delays.

With school being just around the corner, it's important you know when to STOP. 🛑

If you're traveling on a two-lane road, stop no matter what. If you're traveling on a multi-lane road, only stop if you're traveling the same direction as the bus. Always proceed with caution.

Officer Mendez-Sosa recently transferred to the Rock Hill Police Department and is currently serving our community.

As a reminder, the Rock Hill Police Department will be conducting training today at Northwestern High School from noon - 5 pm.

This is a scheduled event and there is no cause for public concern.

The Rock Hill Police Department will be conducting training at Northwestern High School on Wednesday, July 22 from noon - 5 pm.

During this time, you will see a large police presence. Do not be alarmed, as this is a scheduled training exercise in conjunction with the Rock Hill School District and there is no cause for public concern.
