AOAC INTERNATIONAL brings together government, industry, and academia to establish standard methods of analysis that ensure the safety and integrity of foods and other products that impact public health around the world. AOAC’s standards development process relies on stakeholder panels to develop consensus-based method performance requirements and volunteer expert review panels to evaluate potenti

al methods – all based on the community’s specific method needs. AOAC’s independent third party status, vast experience, and volunteer leadership all contribute to the credibility, defensibility, and acceptability of standards and methods developed through our processes. Programs and Services:

The newly accredited Salmonella Swab PT Program (SS01) enables participating laboratories to verify and report the presence or absence of Salmonella, along with O & H antigen results and species identification when applicable.
