The Arrowhead Area proudly recognizes Officer Alsadek for receiving the prestigious Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Recognition Award for his outstanding commitment to impaired driving enforcement and keeping our communities safe.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving, commonly known as MADD, is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to ending impaired driving, supporting victims and survivors of impaired driving crashes, and preventing underage drinking. Since its founding in 1980, MADD has helped save hundreds of thousands of lives through education, advocacy, victim support, and partnerships with law enforcement agencies across the nation.

Officer Alsadek’s dedication to DUI enforcement reflects the CHP’s mission of safeguarding California’s roadways and protecting families from preventable tragedies. His professionalism, vigilance, and commitment to public safety make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

Yesterday, we had the honor of attending the Caltrans District 8 Memorial, standing alongside Caltrans District 8 and our partners to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to keeping our roadways safe.

Assistant Chief Branconier along with CHP leadership from across the region came together in support, reflecting on the sacrifices made and the responsibility we all share to protect those working on our highways.

As the Inland Empire continues to see significant road improvements, we want to remind everyone that these work zones are active, and lives are on the line.

Slow down for the cone zone. Move over when you see emergency lights.

The California Highway Patrol will be actively patrolling with enhanced enforcement in construction zones to protect workers and the public.

Every cone represents someone’s life. Let’s do our part to make sure everyone goes home safely.

On April 22nd, the Arrowhead Area conducted an SEU (Special Enforcement Unit) on SR-18 from Old Waterman Canyon to Rim of the World High School as a result of increased road rage related incidents.

This operation was conducted between the hours of 6:00am to 1:00pm. The stats are as follows:

Citations- 31
Warnings- 3

The Arrowhead Area has planned several SEU’s on different dates in designated locations throughout the mountain in the near future.

As a reminder, patience goes a long way. Take your time. Leave early. Drive safe.
