Circa Memorial Day 1942, not confirmed, but the vehicle looks like it is from the 1940s. Some real old cars to the right of the marchers, they look like Fort Model Ts or Model As.

Fifth graders from Oak Hill Middle School along with their fifth grade teacher and member of the Sabattus American Legion Auxiliary, Jennifer Rinko, replaced flags at several small cemeteries throughout Sabattus and planted flowers at the Sabattus war monument in preparation for Memorial Day. Along for the ride was SAL and Sabattus Historical Society members Adam Rinko and Michael Deslauriers.

Thank you to all and to legionnaire Ron Caron for providing pizzas for the hardworking crew. A big thank you to Jillson’s Farm for their annual donation of lovely flowers for the monument.
