Day 5 - D**e JD-2 Delta static display. Today our Workforce Solutions Alamo SEAL Team members moved and assembled the Delta into its permanent display location between our F-4 and the UH-34. Next we will make support stands for it. It's been a great joy to see the Delta make an incredible journey from Arizona to become our latest addition to the museum's aircraft collection. This airplane will be the only one of its kind on display at a museum.

We also want to let you know that these projects couldn't be done without the super work from these young gentlemen. They age from 16 to 19, and for some, this is their very first employment!

More work on the D**e Delta today by the museum Seal Team sponsored Workforce Solutions Alamo

Day 3 & 4 on our D**e JD-2 Delta airplane project. The team first fitted the two nose cowlings halves onto the airframe. Next, they test fit the wings to the body. Then, they saw how to tack weld the new landing gear's wheel spindle. We are polishing spare aluminum props to fit the airplane. Finally the sanding, cleaning, and tape layout was completed before we start the painting process.

This will be the first and only D**e Delta in a museum. We are very proud.

Today we say goodbye to our first maintenance/groundskeeper SEAL Team members. We will miss Colmen, Daniel, James, and Connor as they continue on to High School or College. Great summer work you men!

Day 1 & 2 on our D**e Delta project. With the help of our newest members of Workforce Solutions Alamo SEAL team, we started the process of rebuilding the airplane. With help from Mr. McCall and Mr. Garza, the team leaned some sheet metal skills.

July 7 was the beginning of our next SEAL team members' work schedule. Thanks to Workforce Solutions Alamo, we have another amazing group of museum technicians to help out. We have in the gift shop, Seth, Alicia, and Mason. In the museum's maintenance shop, we welcome Juan, Teagan, Jay, Matthew, and Jayden. For most members, this is their very first paying job! Oh to be 16 again! Please stop by and help us cheer these young people on a job well done. Thank you!

Another great week of Workforce Solutions Alamo SEAL Team making it happen at the museum. Great team work in restoration of two cast iron park benches. Now we have a unique place for our guests to take a break while exploring our vast collection.
