📚📒📖 Buck-a-Book is a fantastic opportunity to refresh your home library while directly supporting our school. We encourage “gently used” children’s book donations (Nov. 3-14th). We then host a book drive for our kiddos… where EVERY BOOK is only $1 (Nov. 17-21st)!

We are collecting gently used children’s books to stock the sale! Now is the perfect time to clear out those bookshelves!

WHEN: 30 minutes before and after school- November 3rd through November 14th

Buck-a-Book SALE (November 17-21st)

Kids can shop and buy any book for just $1!

Bobcat Families! Please join us for the Bishop’s Peak Annual Fall Carnival! 🎪🤹

We are excited to invite you and your family to our beloved Carnival on:

🗓️ Saturday, October 25th
⏰ 4:00pm-7:00pm

This is a FREE community event, so bring your family and friends for an
evening of fun and memories!

Get ready for cotton candy, popcorn, inflatable games, tumbling course, face painting,
music, dancing, games, prizes, and so much more!

There will be pizza and desserts, drinks and desserts for purchase!

** COSTUMES WELCOME **
To keep the fun spooky, BUT SAFE:
NO FACE MASKS, FACE COVERINGS, OR TOY WEAPONS

Please keep an eye out for Carnival Donation and Volunteer requests coming out tomorrow!!

We will be needing our community to help out in order to make this a fun and successful event!

📲 Screen Sanity Parent Night
Date: Tuesday, October 14, 2025
Time: 5:30 PM
Location: Bishop’s Peak MPR

This is a FREE event, but you are required to RSVP. DM us for the link or scan the QR code on the post. Please share with all BP familis and school neighbors.

Screens have become one of the biggest challenges in family life today. At this interactive event, we’ll view short expert-led videos and then break out into grade-level groups to share ideas, struggles, and strategies with other parents.

Together we’ll explore topics like:
- Creating screentime boundaries
- Managing screen-related meltdowns
- Protecting kids from unsafe or mature content

This is an adult only event. No zoom/remote option available.

Dear BP Families,

The PTA is thrilled to announce we exceeded our $50K goal, and our students raised an astounding $53,557! This tremendous success is a testament to our students, staff, and our wonderful BP community.

A huge, heartfelt thank you goes out to our Top Earners, who won both the individual and family categories! ELLIOT OWENS, SAGE WALLACE, and their families were instrumental in helping us reach and exceed our goal.... earning a one-night stay at the iconic Madonna Inn and season passes to The Ravine Water Park!

Top Earning Class: Congratulations to MRS. COX class... they’ve earned a Pajama party with a movie and popcorn & 10 extra minutes of recess!
School-Wide Reward: Because our whole school rallied together to meet the $50,000 goal, every single student has earned a pizza picnic and popsicles! Details on the date for this celebration will be shared soon.
Thank you again for making this year’s Jog-A-Thon our most successful in BP history! Every dollar goes directly to supporting Overnight Study Trips, assemblies, Arts and Music classes, Garden, Classroom supplies, MATH night, and so much more!

We have a lot of exciting news to share and encourage all BP families to attend! We will be announcing the impressive jog-a-thon totals our AMAZING community has fundraised and giving more details about the carnival 🙂

You can attend this meeting in person at Bishop’s Peak School OR virtually via Google Meet (link and agenda provided on Parent Square).

🚸Join us for Walk to School Day!🚸

We’ll have two “Walking School Buses”. This is a fun way for students and parents to walk to school together.

The Walking School Bus will “pick up” students along the route starting at 8:00AM, so please wait with your child at one of the meeting points:

📍East Route: Meet at Throop Park (corner of Cerro Romualdo Ave. & Cuesta Dr.). Your Walking School Bus Drivers are: Chenin & Garrett Otto, Jordan Kennedy, Ashley Allison, Mr. Martin & Ms. MacLeod.

📍North Route: Meet at the corner of Patricia Dr. & Clover Dr. Your Walking School Bus Drivers are Gweno Le Gurudec, Brittany Nicol, Jen Smith, Lauren Bob, and Maribeth Haselden.

Once we arrive at school, there will be snacks and little giveaways outside the MPR. 🎉

This is one of our most important fundraisers of the year, helping to support amazing programs like study trips for 4th-6th graders, field trips for TK-6th, community events, enrichment programs, and more.

🎁Exciting Prizes & New Incentives:
We now have prizes for top fundraising families. Plus, any student who receives at least one donation by October 3rd will be entered into a raffle to win 1 of 8 Spirit Wear baskets (one winner per grade).

🎯Our goal this year is 100% participation, meaning we hope that every student receives at least one donation—no matter the amount. Together, we can make this year’s Jog-A-Thon the most successful yet!
