YRO continues to grow their chapters and expand their membership across Oregon.

Appreciate all of the advocacy from our communities for our Veterans. There was a fantastic turnout for our Town Hall for an update on Oregon’s Third Veterans Home to be built in Roseburg. We secured the $35 million state dollars as our portion during the 2024 session. We were able to keep is secured in the 2025 sessions biennial budget. We have been advocating for the federal dollars to move the project forward for our Veterans, their families and our communities.

Thank you to ODVA Director Daniels for her leadership and all of her team’s efforts. Our Douglas County and Southern Oregon Veterans appreciate ODVA also holding the Veterans Benefits Expo in Roseburg as well. Both were well attended and we will continue to push for the funding for the Veterans Home and needed services to our Veterans.

Let me fix this for you Governor: Approximately 35,000 Oregonians that were defrauding the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program have been forced to leave their mom’s basement because HR1 made able bodied adults work a minimum of 20 hours a week to qualify for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. We know they did this to root out the fraud, waste and abuse perpetrated by Democrat Governors like myself for votes. We also know the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program is just that, supplemental, and if my policies didn’t drive up costs in state, and businesses and their jobs out of state, so many Oregonians wouldn’t need my Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for their votes. 👆 that is definitely more accurate.

Portland, Oregon, mom fires back at elementary school after being banned from campus for criticizing a trans-inclusive pride flag.

Allison Roberts, a self-described liberal Democrat, says she was issued a one-year trespass order — barring her from her own child's graduation — after distributing an open letter on a public sidewalk outside school property.

The Liberty Justice Center filed suit last week, arguing the school violated her First and Fourteenth Amendment rights by retaliating against protected speech.
