EMT Kayleigh Wagoner was instrumental in the success of our recent community outreach initiative. Serving as a primary point of contact, she partnered with six Title 1 elementary schools across Chatham County to provide essential school supplies to students in need. EMT Wagoner managed inventory assessment and coordinated all logistic drop offs. In recognition of her outstanding leadership and dedication to the community, she was awarded a certificate of appreciation.
Please help us congratulate EMT Wagoner on a job well done.

CES keeping an eye on the Community, from the Chalk Walk in Bloomingdale to Friday night lights, and standby for live burn training with Bloomingdale Fire. Thank you to all the crews for what they do.

Busy week continues for Chatham Emergency Services. Besides the job fairs earlier this week we visited Beach HS and talked with the Elevate Class, delivered School supplies to some SCCPSS Elementary Schools, attended the First Responder Touch-a-Truck and Teddy Bear clinic at the Tanger Outlet. Thank you to our crews for helping to fulfill our commitment to Chatham County.

Today Chatham Emergency Services took possession of one of two new High Top Transits. This adds approximately six more inches of headroom in the patient compartment making it much more comfortable to work in.

We had an incredible opportunity to tour the plant, learn more about the LP-35, and spend time with an outstanding team. From start to finish, your hospitality was unwavering, and our experience was truly remarkable.

Medic 39 responded to a possible diabetic patient this afternoon. Upon patient arrival, a small fire was discovered in the patients bathroom from a lit cigarette. the crew called for the fire department to be dispatched and then the altered patient and his wife were safely removed from the home. The crew then went back inside, removing the pets and using a fire extinguisher extinguished the flames that was now moving up the walls.

Great job to our crew for not only TAKING care of the patient, his wife and the pets, AND FOR SAVING their house from extensive damage
