🍿 Learning Through the 5 Senses! 👀👃👂👅🖐️
What better way to bring learning to life than with POPCORN?! Mrs. Biagas and Ms. Marmande’s 4th grade ELA classes came together for a memorable food experience as students used their five senses to observe, describe, and enjoy freshly popped popcorn.
As part of their CKLA 4th Grade Personal Narratives unit, students took their learning outside to enjoy their popcorn and worked with a partner to complete their 5 Senses Chart. They recorded what they saw, heard, smelled, tasted, and felt, collecting vivid details that will help bring their personal narratives to life! ✍️✨
From popping kernels to sharing observations with a partner, students experienced firsthand how our senses can help us remember and describe a special moment. Learning, laughter, and popcorn made for a truly unforgettable ELA experience! 🍿📚

We are excited to share the amazing experience our 5th-grade students had in Ms. Doyle's Science class this week! They put their STEM knowledge to the test by devising a creative solution to help "Jimothy the Raccoon" get his food. With just a few tools at their disposal, they collaborated as a team to flip the trash can, refill it, build a bridge, and carefully place the adventurous raccoon!

It was an incredible display of teamwork and innovation. Ms. Doyle can’t wait to see what they come up with next! 😄
