Hello Seward if anyone saw a hit and run on the corner of 5th and Jefferson early this morning around 3 to 4 am, could you please call 907-224-3338 and ask for Officer Messmer. Photos of the vehicle that got hit are below. It looks like someone backed into it with a trailer hitch impacting the drivers door. Thank you in advance for any information you may have.

Hello Seward Boat Captains. Is anyone missing their emergency dry suits. 4 were turned into the police department today. One has the marking F/V Cheryn on it, another says Shemya and another has Halcyon written on it. The remaining suit is not marked. Please check your emergency gear and if you're missing your dry suits please give us a call at 907-224-3338 and describe them. Case number is 26-0202. We spoke with the harbor already as well.

Update two suits have been returned. Still 2 remaining.

Hello Seward we could use your help. Someone stole some city park benches from the park near the mile zero of the Iditarod Historic Trail statues. They stolen the benches circled in the photos below. If you know who may have them or who did this please call 907-224-3338 and ask to speak with Officer Messmer. Case number is 26-0188. They were bolted to the ground and were cut loose. Thank you in advance.
