09/01/2026

Thunderstorms should develop in central SD late this afternoon and move east through the evening and overnight hours. The main threats will be hail to the size of golf balls and wind gusts to 70 mph. A very isolated tornado will also be possible during the evening.

08/28/2026

If you're out and about this evening, we may have some passing light showers, and a very low chance for lightning.

Slightly higher rain chances begin to develop after 10pm but especially after midnight. While low, an isolated stronger storm could be possible, through widespread severe storms does not look likely.

This rain will move east of the Tri-State area by 7am.
