Message alert from Osceola County Secondary Roads:
-A County contractor will be performing warranty asphalt repair on a bridge on Oak Hill Avenue south of Ashton. The work entails milling and repaving asphalt on a county bridge.
-The road will be closed intermittently between 240th Street and 250th Street.
-The work is scheduled to begin May 28, 2026 and will continue for approximately 2 days weather permitting.

Please find an alternate route to travel during this time.

.....FUNNEL CLOUDS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE I-90 CORRIDOR THIS EVENING...

Showers and thunderstorms have developed across the I-90 corridor
and adjacent areas of northwestern Iowa this evening. Conditions
are favorable for funnel clouds with any shower or thunderstorm
that develops. These types of funnel clouds are usually short
lived. However, they can and occasionally do touch the ground and
cause minor damage. Therefore, if you see a funnel cloud and feel
your safety is threatened, please seek shelter.

A funnel cloud has already been reported in Rock county around
5:15 PM CDT with a developing thunderstorm.

Showers and storms will diminish after sunset.
