👻 BOO! Did that scare you? How about this?

Diapers can cost $1,200 per child every year, and programs like SNAP and WIC don’t cover them.

For families already stretching every dollar, that’s a frightening expense for something babies need every single day.

🐈‍⬛ What’s scarier than a black cat crossing your path?

The fact that families across Greater Washington are missing an estimated 60 MILLION diapers every year!

Diaper need is a huge problem hiding in plain sight, and far too few people know about it.

This Halloween week, we’re sharing some frightening facts about diaper need. Follow along, and help us spread the word!

Thank you for helping fill our bins! 💙

Thanks to everyone who donated to our Back-to-School Diaper Drive! As families took on back-to-school expenses, your generosity helped make sure babies across the DMV have the diapers they need to stay clean, dry, and healthy.

We collected 10,580 diapers and 2,520 wipes!

Did you know you can give from a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)? 🤔

A DAF is a charitable giving account — think of it like a savings account for donations you've already set aside for good causes. If you have one, DAF Day (Oct 8) is the perfect time to put those dollars to work.

Every DAF gift is matched dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000 — so your impact goes twice as far for babies who need diapers. 👶

New to giving through a DAF? Click here to watch our DAF webinar recording and learn more before the big day.

We can't do this alone—and we don't have to.

Trusted community organizations across DC, Maryland, and Virginia help get diapers into families' hands, often alongside food, healthcare, housing support, and other services.

And that connection matters: 74% of families told us that receiving diapers through one of our partner organizations helped them learn about other assistance or services they didn't know about before.

Diapers meet an immediate basic need. They can also help connect families with even more support. Thank you to the community partners who help make this work possible every day.
