🎉 Exciting News for Sinton ISD! 🎉

Today, Sinton ISD was honored to receive a JOBS and EDUCATION for Texans (JET) Grant in the amount of $328,296 during a special presentation at Del Mar College's Oso Creek Campus.

A special thank you to Commissioner Joe Esparza of the Texas Workforce Commission for presenting the award. This grant will provide funding for new equipment to support the Instrumentation Program at Sinton High School, helping students gain hands-on experience and develop the technical skills needed for high-demand careers.

This investment in career and technical education will create valuable opportunities for our students and strengthen the future workforce of our community.

Ending the year the best way we know how—together, grateful, and celebrating our people.

Friday morning we came together as a district family to celebrate and recognize the people and moments that make Sinton ISD special. We honored our blood drive award recipients, staff awards, service milestones, and of course our retirees whose years of dedication have left a lasting impact on our students and schools.

A huge thank you to our Food Service Department for coming in early to prepare and serve breakfast for the entire district—you set the tone for a great morning and a great celebration.

We are grateful for all of our staff and everything accomplished this year. Enjoy your summer! ☀️

Welder Elementary is honored to celebrate the retirement of four outstanding educators — Shana Austin, Veronica Casanova, Carolyn Gray, and Terry Rodriguez.

Together, these incredible ladies represent an amazing 137 years of service dedicated to students, staff, and the Sinton ISD community. Their impact reaches far beyond the classroom through the relationships they built, the lives they touched, and the countless memories they helped create over the years.

Thank you for your dedication, compassion, hard work, and commitment to education. Welder Elementary has been truly blessed by your years of service and the love you poured into our students each and every day.
