What happens at the Community Values Conversation - Town of Smithfield ?

The evening begins with a Strong Towns 101 presentation, offering shared context on how communities across the country are thinking about growth, infrastructure costs, public investment, and long-term fiscal health.

After that, participants will take part in small-group conversations focused on lived experience, community values, and long-term priorities. These discussions will directly inform the foundation of Smithfield’s Comprehensive Plan.

This is a listening-and-learning event designed to support thoughtful, inclusive dialogue about Smithfield’s future.
