Meet Santiago.

One of seven kids, Santiago dreams of becoming a scientist and lights up whenever he talks about numbers. Curious, determined, and full of potential, he has big goals for the future.

When emergency food assistance ended and grocery costs continued to rise, Santiago's family turned to Utah Food Bank's partner network for support. Access to nutritious food helps ensure children like Santiago can focus on learning, growing, and chasing their dreams instead of worrying about where their next meal will come from.

The University of Utah Alumni Association is helping tackle hunger, one donation at a time. 🏈❤️

Look out for Student Alumni Board volunteers collecting donations at the tailgate this Saturday at the Utah football game! Every dollar donated provides the equivalent of $6.08 worth of goods and services, helping Utah Food Bank get nutritious food to children, families, seniors, and individuals facing hunger across the state.

Monument Valley Pantry Temporary Closure Notice

Due to the flooding situation in Monument Valley, our pantry there will remain closed until early next week.
If you are in the area and need food assistance, please visit our Montezuma Creek Pantry during operating hours.

Montezuma Creek Pantry will be open as usual from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, October 23, and Monday, October 26.

Meet John. 💙

At 74 years old, John pulls a wagon 7½ blocks from his apartment to a local food pantry. He waits in line, gathers food not only for himself but often for his neighbors, and makes the trip back home through busy streets of Salt Lake City and uneven sidewalks.

John doesn't take any of the help he receives for granted. He knows how quickly circumstances can change, especially for older adults living on limited incomes.

His story is a reminder that hunger can look different than many people expect. It's a senior helping neighbors. It's a long walk with a wagon. It's stretching every resource as far as it can go.

Together, we can help ensure older adults across Utah have reliable access to the food they need.
