We Will Always Remember.

25 years later, we remember the lives lost, the sacrifices made, and the heroes who answered the call on September 11, 2001. 343 firefighters were lost that day. Many more in the years to come as a result of that fateful day in September.

Some of our firefighters responded in the days following the attacks. Others weren’t even born yet.

But today, we stand together—remembering the past, honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and carrying their legacy forward.

🔥 GARAGE FIRES CAN SPREAD QUICKLY—EVEN ON A RAINY NIGHT. 🌧️

Unified Fire Authority crews recently responded to a garage fire in Kearns while working through wet and challenging conditions.

Garages often contain gasoline, propane, paint, batteries, and other combustible materials that can cause a fire to grow rapidly. You can help protect your home and family by:

• Storing flammable products properly and away from heat sources
• Keeping the door between your garage and home closed
• Never leaving charging batteries unattended
• Calling 911 immediately and staying outside if a fire occurs

Weather may change the conditions, but it does not change the importance of being prepared. Rain or shine, fire safety starts before an emergency happens.

UFA was honored to join our local and state fire agencies in a procession honoring the two fallen pilots who tragically lost their lives fighting the Widemouth 2 Fire. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and all those affected by this heartbreaking loss.
