Today, we have lost a wonderful woman who dedicated herself to bringing happiness and light to the world. We remember Dolly, not only for her music and stories, but her dedication to children’s literacy. She believed that every child deserved books of their own and the opportunity to dream because of them. We are heartbroken at the passing of the country music legend, cultural icon, and champion of literacy Dolly Parton. 🩷

Summer Reading has come to an end, but we had a blast with everyone! We had 307 kids, 71 teens, and 324 adults signed up. The kids and teens read a total of 195,756 minutes over the summer! We had 38 programs at the library and 984 of you came to them! Thank you so much for an amazing summer! Check back soon for updates for fall!

Today we had two surgeries. Mommy Cappy was happily reunited with her children today after back surgery. Tina the elephant went home to rest after a small foot surgery and everyone is well. A librarian’s job is never done. - Librarian/Stuffie Doctor
