As the North Fork gears up for a busy season, our community is full of energy. People are working hard, picking up extra shifts, and doing their best to get ahead.
But behind closed doors, many of our neighbors are facing a quiet challenge. When money is tight, hygiene products are often among the first essentials cut from the budget. Families are forced to choose between a nutritious meal and basic personal care items—an impossible choice that no one should have to make.
Imagine starting a new job, attending an interview, or simply moving through your day without access to deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, or soap. The lack of these everyday necessities can affect confidence, dignity, and well-being.
