It began in a little schoolhouse in Ripon, Wisconsin, in 1854. A small group of dedicated abolitionists gathered to fight the expansion of slavery, and they gave birth to a Party dedicated to freedom and equal opportunity. The name “Republican” was chosen, alluding to Thomas Jefferson’s Democratic-Republican Party and conveying a commitment to the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The Party was formally organized in July 1854 by thousands of anti-slavery activists at a convention in Jackson, Michigan. And it was no accident that two years later, in 1856, the first Republican National Convention took place in Philadelphia, where the Constitution was written.

Good Morning!

In November 2024, I was only 1 of 10 legislators that voted to implement the Audit Ballot Question.

I still Stand with the 72% of Massachusetts voters.

🇺🇸 Happy Flag Day from the Southwick Republican Town Committee 🇺🇸

Today we proudly celebrate Flag Day, honoring the Stars and Stripes, the enduring symbol of American freedom, unity, and sacrifice.

Our flag represents the principles that have guided this nation for nearly 250 years: liberty, opportunity, personal responsibility, and the belief that government exists to serve the people, not the other way around.

We remember the brave men and women of our Armed Forces, past and present, who have defended our flag and the freedoms it represents. Their courage ensures that the American dream remains alive for future generations.

As Americans, we stand proudly behind the Red, White, and Blue and reaffirm our commitment to preserving the values that make this country exceptional.

May Old Glory continue to wave as a beacon of freedom and hope for generations to come.

🇺🇸 Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸
God Bless Southwick, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the United States of America.

During today’s session -

•Another $22 Million was doled out for FREE Prison Phone Calls.

•Another $35 Million for Off-Shore wind.

As Cities & Towns are facing Prop 2 1/2 overrides, cutting police & fire services, and laying off teachers- the priorities of Beacon Hill were on full display.

I Voted No.

June 6, 1944 D-Day

Today, we pause to remember the brave American soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Allied forces who stormed the beaches of Normandy 82 years ago and helped turn the tide of World War II.

Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to freedom changed the course of history. Many never made it home, giving their lives so future generations could live in liberty rather than under tyranny.

As we commemorate D-Day, we honor the Greatest Generation and the values they fought to defend: freedom, duty, faith, patriotism, and love of country.

May we never forget the price paid for the freedoms we enjoy today, and may we always strive to be worthy of the sacrifices made on those shores.

We remember. We honor. We are forever grateful.

🇺🇸 God Bless our veterans, our military, and the United States of America.

The committee process?

Check out this recent article on the “committe process” calling it… “the bloodless murder of legislation”.

Over 800 pieces of legislation already killed in just the House alone.
