Step back in time during Michigan Apple Fest on September 19! Experience the stories of Sparta's earliest days at the Roots in the Ridge program from 11-11:45 at the Sparta Civic Center. Hear about Lyman Smith, the very first pioneer who came to the area in 1844 (and looks a lot like Dr. Dan from Scarffe Chiropractic, P.C. 🤔😂).

After the program, enjoy an Apple Smorgasbord with apple baked goods for sale until 1:30! Donations benefit the new historical museum and Myers One Room School Museum.
