For 75 years, UGM has had the privilege of helping people find hope, healing, and a pathway toward a new life.

Through the Life Recovery Program, men have found the support and tools they need to make lasting changes, not only for themselves, but for their families. For some, that journey has meant rebuilding relationships and being restored to their children.

For 75 years, Union Gospel Mission has been serving our neighbors facing homelessness throughout the Inland Northwest. More than just filling an empty stomach, a meal can open the door to healing and a new beginning.

This mission would not be possible without the generosity of our incredible community. Together, we’re helping provide a pathway out of homelessness, reminding our neighbors that they matter and that their stories don’t end with their current circumstances.

A heartfelt thank you to Breast Intentions for spending time with the women at our CDA Campus!

Their team provided professional bra fittings, valuable education, and generously donated two bras to each woman they served. This thoughtful gift goes far beyond clothing. It helps restore dignity, confidence, and comfort for women as they continue their journey of healing and growth.

We are so grateful for your kindness, expertise, and commitment to empowering women in our community. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference!

A big thank you to Dynamic Designs and Cody Bristlin for the incredible work they've done at our LC Valley Shelter!

From our outdoor UGM sign to the beautiful artwork displaying our mission statement inside the shelter, Cody and his team have done an outstanding job bringing these projects to life.

Our mission statement is more than just words on a wall. It's a daily reminder of why we do what we do, and we're grateful to have it displayed so beautifully for our staff, volunteers, residents, and community to see.

Cody has been great to work with throughout both projects, and we're especially grateful for the opportunity to partner with a local business that takes such pride in its work.

Thank you, Cody and the entire Dynamic Designs team, for helping make our shelter such a welcoming place!

This experience was a catalyst for my transfer to the program, for focusing on my sobriety, and for starting to build my relationship with Christ.” — Dionne Varney, UGM Recovery Alumna & UGM Motors Office Manager

UGM noticed a growing need for emergency shelter for women and children, and leadership knew it was time to take action. In 2007, UGM purchased the Budget Saver Hotel on Sprague Avenue and transformed it into a safe place for women in crisis.

The shelter quickly filled with women and children seeking help, making it clear that the need was growing across the community. As UGM looked for ways to expand services, an assisted living building at Hogan and Illinois became available. Already well-suited for shelter use, the building saved the Mission millions and provided a better fit for serving women and children.

Today, UGM continues to provide safe shelter, recovery, and hope for women and children throughout the Inland Northwest. Read more in our summer newsletter: https://hubs.ly/Q04B9v1T0
