We respond anywhere in central Texas for rescue, recovery, salvage, and evidence recovery. The South Hays Fire Department Dive Team (formerly known as San Marcos Area Recovery Team) is a member of Emergency District #3 and a part of South Hays County Fire Department. They provide underwater search and recovery services to Hays County and most of south and central Texas on receipt of a request for

mutual aid. Any third-party items, locations, services, or businesses mentioned herein are purely for informational purposes and do not imply any endorsement or recommendation by South Hays Fire Department, Hays County, or Emergency Services Division 3.

As severe weather and flooding conditions continue to impact parts of Texas, Texas Public Safety Divers stands ready to assist our state and local partners whenever called upon.

Our response capabilities include:
• Human remains recovery
• Evidence recovery
• Boat operations
• Underwater search and recovery missions

We are prepared to support any requesting agency and respond wherever our resources are needed.

Flood conditions can change rapidly. Stay weather aware, monitor local forecasts, have multiple ways to receive emergency notifications, and never attempt to drive through flooded roadways.

We Absolutely Love SAFE boats. we used to work closely with the USCG in Galveston, TX. We’d love to have one…

We even created a dive cylinder rack that we could put in and take out of the Guardian 25, standard USCG issue. We could place it in the small bow section. it held dive cylinders for recovery operations.

SAFE Boats is a win win for any dive team.
