Today's challenge: Healing Forward. Growth and healing looks different for every survivor and healing is not linear. Self-care is a form of healing and building self-love after trauma. Self-care isn't just bubble bath and face masks, but includes boundary setting, discovering joyful activities, moving your body, spending time in nature, journaling, mindfulness, goal setting, and so much more.

"Self-care is how you take your power back" - Lalah Delia. This is a reminder that you are worthy of love, healing, happiness, and safety.

The “What Were You Wearing?” Exhibit is up at Clark State’s main campus! Stop by anytime this week to visit.

The exhibit is a powerful reminder that clothing is not an excuse for sexual violence. No one is asking for it.

Start by believing, listening, and supporting survivors when they come forward. Say something when you see or hear r**e jokes or victim blaming. Intervene when someone needs help. Know your local resources to help connect survivors to resources. We all have a part to play in ending sexual violence.

If you or a loved one is in need of help, reach out to our 24/7 crisis line at 1-800-634-9893.
