This September, we honor the memory of Demontay J. McNamee (2001-2026) by opening up vital conversations about mental health in our community.

September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month. Together with the Organization for Black Struggle, Project Haki, and the Youth Council for Positive Development, we are highlighting the Black Male Awareness Su***de Initiative.
We can all play a role by remembering three simple actions:
➡️ Recognize: Notice changes in behavior, withdrawal, or feelings of hopelessness.
➡️ Respond: Start a direct conversation and encourage them to seek help.
➡️ Refer: Connect your loved ones to professional resources.
If you or someone you know needs support, help is available 24/7. Call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. 📲 Scan the QR code in our post to find local support resources in the St. Louis metro area.
