ere. As the only organization of white people working under the leadership of the African Liberation Movement, USM is a strategic component of the revolutionary movement of African people. Our mission is to organize inside the belly of the beast, winning other white people to take a stand in solidarity with the self-defined struggle of African people for liberation, self-determination and power over their own lives and resources. USM is built on the understanding that the “racial gap” in the U.S., Europe and throughout the world has a material basis. is built on a foundation of the enslavement of African people and the genocide of the Indigenous people. Europe and white populations throughout the world have been built and sustained by colonialism and the continued extraction of resources of Africa. The African People’s Socialist Party is in the U.S., Canada, Europe, the Caribbean, South America and on the continent of Africa fighting for African working people to have control over their own resources and lives. The continent of Africa and all its minerals and resources belongs to African people and must be used for their benefit, not European and American corporations. This is a world of constant imperialist crisis and unending imperialist war around the world and inside this country against oppressed peoples. capitalist economy is in crisis because all around the world people who have been living for hundreds of years under Western military and economic domination are rising up, saying no to U.S. bred oppression and are taking control of their destinies. As white people, we are learning that to find a future in this world defined by the decline of U.S. imperialism we must jump off this pedestal that allows us live at the expense of African and other peoples. African people and the majority of the world’s peoples are speaking to us. Calling for us to join them in solidarity in the fight for justice and a world without oppressors and the oppressed, a world in which all humanity can live in peace, no one at the expense of others. Does this sound like you? So, what are you waiting for? Join USM today! Get involved! We organize in the white community to build actions, teach-ins, fundraisers, events, forums, community outreach tables, benefit concerts and yoga workshops and much more to raise reparations to the African community! We are building organization to transform the legacy of white people — and you can be part of it!

! Organizing for Reparations: National Day of Action!

Uhuru Solidarity Movement (USM) organizers hit the streets in their communities today to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Durban Declaration and to call for white solidarity with Black Power and African liberation!

USM organizes in the white community to raise reparations for the anti-colonial economic development programs of the African People’s Socialist Party (APSP), such as the Black Power Blueprint and it’s latest expansion: the Reparations Investment Company!

We unite with the Durban Declaration that the trafficking and enslavement of African people is the gravest crime against humanity, and that reparations are owed!

Join Uhuru Solidarity Movement for “Rally for Reparations!” on Saturday, September 5th from 10am-12pm at St. Pete Pier. 600 2nd Ave NE St. Pete, FL 33701.

Commemorate 25 years since the UN Durban World Conference Against Racism declared slavery a crime against humanity and called for reparations. Demand justice for the lynching of at least 22 African people in the past year alone including an African woman found hanging from a tree in St Petersburg in July.

Lynching and other forms of terror against African and Indigenous people is our legacy as white people. Historically, regular white people, whole families, communities and cities have enthusiastically carried out the most despicable acts of terror and violence to enforce social, political and economic control over African communities for our own benefit. It is our responsibility to take a stand against this barbarism.

Take a stand against modern day lynching, genocide, and white nationalist violence.

The Uhuru Solidarity Movement invites you to participate in a National Day of Action this Saturday, August 29th, in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Durban Declaration!

What is the Durban Declaration? The 2001 United Nations World Conference Against Racism in Durban, South Africa, which declared: “the trafficking of enslaved Africans was a crime against humanity.”

On March 25, 2026, the U.N. General Assembly adopted a landmark resolution declaring the transatlantic slave trade as the "gravest crime against humanity" and that “reparatory justice is due to African people.”

We unite with the organizations throughout the world taking action around the 25th Anniversary of the Durban Declaration to demand: Reparations Now!

The Uhuru Solidarity Movement (USM) is the organization of white people under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party (APSP) organizing in the white community to build the movement for reparations and white solidarity with African, Indigenous & all colonized peoples self-determination & national liberation! It is the decades of work by the APSP led by Chairman Omali Yesh*tela which has made Reparations the household word it is today, paving the way for the Durban Conference. In 1982 the Party held the first World Tribunal on Reparations in Brooklyn, NY.

We will be participating in events, outreach, and actions this weekend in St. Louis, MO, St. Pete, FL, San Francisco Bay/ Oakland, and San Diego & more, and invite you to participate in honoring the 25th anniversary of the Durban Declaration!

! Organizing for Reparations!
Salute comrade Redbeard doing outreach in the San Francisco Bay area! Reparations Now!

The Uhuru Solidarity Movement (USM) works under the leadership of the African People's Socialist Party (APSP). We organize in the white community for reparations to African people by raising resources for the anti-colonial economic development programs of the APSP.

Material solidarity is the cornerstone of our work. We go back into white society where the stolen wealth of African people is hoarded, and we work to raise resources in solidarity with African liberation as a concrete act of reparations!

We take responsibility for the fact that white society rests on the pedestal of the oppression of African people and the genocide against the Indigenous people of the Americas. We recognize that white people have a completely different reality from African people because of our relationship to this system as the beneficiaries of centuries of slavery and oppression.

We believe, as Che Guevara once said: “Solidarity is not a matter of well-wishing, but sharing the same fate, in victory or in death.”
