Yesterday we had an educator from the St. Louis Zoo talk about Forest Park’s past, present and future. Our seniors learned about facts on how structures in the zoo were built, animals coming in and out of the zoo, and insights about Wildcare Park and the new Discovery Zone inside the Forest Park location. It was a wonderful session!

Our next Meet & Greet will be June 23rd at 10-11am. Gina Seibe from Historic Florissant will be the the JFK Senior Center talking about the history of Florissant homes and who lived in them. Coffee and donuts will be provided.

Florissant Senior Residents are invited to attend Burgers, Brews, and Badges on Wednesday, August 5th! During this senior happy hour, our very own Florissant Police Officers will be grilling up some burgers and visiting with the seniors. Scott Laytham will be here to provide the music and entertainment. This event is free, but soda, water, beer, and wine will be available for $1/ea.

Whether you’re honoring a loved one or creating arrangements for others, this class will guide you step-by-step through choosing colors, arranging flowers, securing materials, and adding personal touches. All skill levels are welcome, and you’ll leave with a finished arrangement that is both meaningful and elegant.

This past Wednesday our Florissant Seniors enjoyed another happy hour! Thank you Gary Williams from Jukebox Productions for providing all the dance music! 🎶🕺

Our next Senior Happy Hour is August 5th! Resident seniors 55 years and older are welcome to “Brews, Burgers, & Badges” from 1-3pm. Music will be provided by Scott Laytham. Food is free and will be cooked by the Florissant Valley Police department! Of course, drinks are for purchase for $1/ea.

☕Who wouldn't want their coffee with a side of music?!🎶

Seniors in the community are welcomed to visit us for our NEW EVENT: a Coffee Concert Series featuring local artists. Coffee, tea and water will be served with light refreshments. Come enjoy friendship and community, please live music. We won't stop you from dancing! Tickets are $10 for residents, and $15 for non-residents.

Doors open at 9:30am, music will play from 10am-11am.

Tickets are LIVE for the Mayor's Bingo! We expect a great crowd. Attendees will enjoy 20 rounds of bingo, Pot O' Gold, attendance prizes, and delicious catered food.

Tickets are available by calling the Senior Center at 314-839-7605, or visiting us at 315 Howdershell Rd. The Senior Center is open M-F from 8am-5pm.
