The Normandy Schools Collaborative enrolls over 3,500 students in preschool through grade 12. In 2019, the Collaborative moved to a grade 1-8 (or EleMiddle) configuration for its elementary schools, and opened a new Early Learning Center for Pre-School/Pre-K/Kindergarten students. All professional staff members are fully certified by the Missouri Department of Education. Every school has a full-time, non-teaching principal. The average length of tenure for teachers in the district is 15 years. Over half of the district's staff hold master's degrees. Students in the Collaborative benefit from a strong and aggressive curriculum, nationally recognized academic programs, a full-range of extracurricular activities, a highly educated and motivated teaching force, low pupil/teacher ratios, and teams of specially trained counselors and social workers - all committed to enhancing each student's academic and personal growth.

We’re proud to announce that Normandy High School has been selected as a F1rst String Beneficiary through a partnership with Hibbett Sports and Nike!

Thanks to this incredible collaboration, both our Boys and Girls Basketball Programs will each receive a $25,000 donation to support their athletic development and program growth.

But that’s not all; beginning this spring, one male and one female student-athlete will be named F1rst String Scholarship Recipients, each earning $5,000 per year for four years to support their college journey. These scholarship recipients will also have the unique opportunity to participate in the Hibbett x Nike Connected Internship Program, gaining hands-on career experience with two global brands.

We’re deeply grateful to Kendal Schroder, Hibbett Community Marketing Senior Specialist, and our partners at Hibbett Sports and Nike for investing in our students’ success, both on and off the court.

At last night’s JEGB meeting, we proudly recognized several incredible leaders and educators whose work continues to elevate our district:

Julius B. Anthony, President of St. Louis Black Authors of Children’s Literature, along with Dr. Hope Sutton and Dr. Tony O. Brooks, were celebrated for launching the newest Believe Project Literacy Lab at Normandy Middle School at Lucas Crossing, the first middle school literacy lab in the St. Louis region!

Ms. Deanne Ward, 5th-grade teacher at Barack Obama Elementary, received the Robin Kyles Trailblazer Award at the Science Teachers of Missouri Conference for her exceptional contributions to STEM education and commitment to inspiring students.

These recognitions reflect Normandy’s continued dedication to student achievement, literacy, and a culture of excellence.

Normandy Schools Collaborative and the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) will host a public hearing on Thursday, December 4, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Normandy High School, located at 6701 St. Charles Rock Road.

We invite all families and members of the community to attend this important meeting. During the session, we will share district updates, discuss key issues impacting our schools, and—most importantly—hear from you.
