I’m excited about our little photo props. I will have these at early voting and at each voting location on Election Day.

I got the idea from Stephanie Schumacher, Mason County Clerk.

So, if you’re a first time voter, take a picture and tag us on Facebook.

Early voting begins tomorrow, Thursday, 10/29 and runs through Saturday 10/31 at the Powell County Extension Office from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm each day.

Our ballot is really long so please look over a sample ballot before going.

I’ve worked really hard today to try to make things perfect, so please if you have any issues at all, give me a call. I can’t fix an issue if I don’t know about it.

****PRECINCT ELECTION OFFICERS****

Reminder if you were chosen as a precinct election officer, the mandatory training is today, October 20, 2026 at 5:00 pm at the Powell County Courthouse.

Today, October 20, 2026 is the last day to request an absentee ballot by mail for the General Election. You may request by calling our office at 663-6444 or online at govote.ky.gov. The online portal will shut down at 11:59 pm tonight.

The 2026 General Election is November 3, 2026. The deadline to register to vote in the 2026 General Election is October 5, 2026 no later than 4:00 p.m. local time.
