Celebrating over 250 years of life in a small town in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

Items on display feature authentic pieces from our local area spanning the Colonial era through the mid twentieth century. These exhibits include:
~A genuine red caboose that can be toured
~A large collection of original Strasburg pottery
~A working model railroad depicting Strasburg and the Southern Railway in the 1930s
~An old country store display
~Civil War articles
~Colonial and Victorian style rooms
~Historic local photographs
~Native American Artifacts

May - Oct, Thursday thru Sunday 11 AM- 4 PM

Admission: Adults: $5.00, Teens: $1.00,
Children: 50 cents

Credit Cards Are Not Excepted

The Model Train display will run every Saturday (other days by appointment).

At 10:30 Mike Kehoe, the Strasburg Museum’s President and a local historian, will share information on an archaeological investigation at the site of a Hessian and British POW Camp during the American Revolution, in the Frederick County/Winchester area.

Gift Shop: local history books, apple butter($8pt and $12qt), and Christmas ornaments ($16)

ONE Week from Saturday(Oct 31), we close for the season. We will open for one day in Dec for a booksigning and Christmas Open House/Gift Shop will be open too.
