The Summer Food Program for kids ages 1-18 begins tomorrow (Monday). We will be providing shelf stable, grab-n-go boxes from 11:00 am-12:30 pm. Please enter through the library's back (north) door. Children must be present to receive a box unless a prior pick up approval form has been completed.

We have the BEST Farm Bureau County Coordinators! Today the kids “unearthed” a lot of information at Summer Library Camp!

Yesterday, ALL K-12 student library books and fees were returned and paid for. This marks the 3rd year in a row and deserves an applause. 👏 And a huge thank you to the two school offices and teachers who helped make this happen!

Elementary students whose entire class returned or paid fees by our goal date were treated to donuts the last day! 🍩

Our BIG announcement! The Summer Food Program, sponsored by the Kansas Food Bank, will be offered at the library this summer. All children, ages 1-18, are eligible to pick up a shelf stable food box each Monday, starting June 1 through August 3, from 11:00 am-12:30 pm. If a parent/guardian will be picking up the box/boxes for children, we encourage you to pre-register your family before June 1. You can do this at the library starting tomorrow during normal operating hours. Please bring your children with you this first time. Children who will be picking up their own boxes do not need to pre-register. If you have questions, please contact the library at 620-384-5622.

If you have a child birth-5, or not quite ready to read on their own, you can register them for the "Storyosaurus" Reading Challenge. Start recording books this Friday, May 22-Friday, July 17. Whether you register online or at the library, be sure pick up a fun recording sheet.
