Thank you all to those that came to Geri's last day as the Talkeetna Librarian. We had an amazing turnout, which shows us the impact that she has made on all of our lives.

What a wonderful turnout and a fitting tribute to a remarkable public servant!

Today, more than 100 community members gathered Public Library to celebrate the retirement of Geri Denkewalter, honoring her decades of dedicated public service and the lasting impact she has made on the community. Geri's commitment and care for the people of Talkeetna have touched countless lives and helped shape the community we know today.

These photos from today's community BBQ capture just a small glimpse of the appreciation and gratitude shared by friends, colleagues, and patrons who came together to wish her well.
Please join us in congratulating Geri on an incredible career and thanking her for her many years of service. We wish her all the best as she begins this exciting new chapter of her life.
