First Lost and Found post of the school year. Please look closely at the items to see if any of them belong to your Trailblazer and have them retrieve it. It’s always recommended you write your child’s name on lunchboxes, clothing tags, water bottles, etc, so we can return items to their owners.

This morning at DTES has gone exceptionally smoothly! All of our Trailblazers are off to a great start. Even the students who had a challenging transition are now enjoying their classes and meeting new friends. Thank you to our AMAZING PTO volunteers for walking our kindergarteners and new Trailblazers to their classrooms this morning. It was great to see so many smiling parent faces at our Boo Hoo Yahoo Breakfast. It’s going to be a wonderful year! We’re looking forward to dismissal that’s just as smooth as drop-off was this morning. We want everyone to get home safe and sound. ❤️💛

Heads up, Trailblazer families! Please help keep our school zones safe. Don’t get a ticket. That money could be used for school supplies, field trips, DTES swag, PTO donations, faculty/staff appreciation, etc. 😊

School zone speed enforcement returns August 12. As students head back to class, cameras will begin monitoring speeds in active school zones across Tallahassee.

There will be no warning period this year. Full enforcement will begin on August 12. Please slow down, stay alert and help keep students safe.

Today, we welcomed back our Trailblazing Teachers. We had lots of fun celebrating our A! It was a productive meeting, and we’re ready to kick off the school year with our students. We appreciate the support of our amazing PTO, who dropped by to deliver checks to our teachers for classroom supplies. Thank you, District 850, and Kerin Clarke, for hosting us!
