Every month we’ll watch anime on the big screen, geek out about our favorite series, and swap recommendations.

It's been a great ! As we approach the holiday weekend, we remind our community that will be returning from vacations and going back to school and work to stop in the Pelham Bay Library and see all we have to offer in books, resources and programs. We remind our community that our NYPL The New York Public Library mobile app was updated recently, and is available on both Apple 's appstore and the Google Play store for mobile devices.
You can search for books, signup for events, find branch locations, and even access some of our online resources.
And, very important: you can type your card number and pin and use the digital card from your phone and leave your physical card home! Plus - you can even use your device camera to scan item barcodes and self-checkout without standing in line at your branch! Very helpful indeed!
