SCSO INFORMATION RELEASE:

At approximately 5:21 p.m. last night, the Sanders County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding an incident in the Heron area. A deputy who was already nearby contacted the victim within minutes. A second deputy arrived shortly afterward to assist with the investigation.

We appreciate the members of the community who were willing to get involved and share timely information. Their assistance helped deputies identify and locate a suspect.

The investigation is ongoing, so there is limited information we can share at this time. We will provide additional information as it becomes available and can be released without compromising the investigation.
