We join the City of Napoleon Fire and Rescue and Wauseon Fire Department in mourning the passing of Tony Druhot.

Tony was more than a Critical Care Paramedic with Life Flight. He was a dedicated public servant, a trusted partner, a mentor, and a friend to so many throughout our EMS and Fire Communities.

Tony proudly served with Mercy Health from 1998 through 2024. During his career, he dedicated 21 years to Life Flight and more than 4 years serving with the Mobile Stroke Unit. His commitment to critical care medicine, compassion for patients, and willingness to help others left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our hearts are with Tony’s family, his brothers and sisters at Napoleon Fire and Wauseon Fire, his former colleagues, and the countless people whose lives he touched throughout his career.

Rest easy, Tony. Your service, friendship, larger-than-life personality, and legacy will never be forgotten.

Your quick recognition of the need for a higher level of care, strong clinical assessment, and seamless coordination made a critical difference in getting this patient to definitive care as efficiently and safely as possible. These outcomes are never the result of one agency alone. They reflect true teamwork across the entire chain of care.

Mercy Health Life Flight is seeking experienced Paramedics and Registered Nurses with a background in critical care transport, emergency medicine, ICU, or flight medicine to join our elite transport team.

In this role, you'll provide advanced critical care to patients during ground and air transport, working alongside a highly skilled team dedicated to delivering exceptional care throughout the region.

What We're Looking For:
-Experienced Paramedics and Registered Nurses with critical care transport experience
-Strong background in emergency, trauma, ICU, or flight medicine
-Ability to make rapid clinical decisions in high-acuity situations
-Passion for patient-centered care and teamwork
