On the last day of school with students, we celebrated the Seaman High School coaching staff with a lunch at Vikings Grille. We honored our UKC winter coaches of the year (Tony Pena and Bob Benoit) and started a new tradition of recognition for years of service including the new “Rick Brading” longevity award, named after our track/cross country coach who has served the Seaman community for 47 years as a coach. Thank you coaches! It definitely takes a village.

The Seaman Baseball team wins game 1 at regionals in Salina 3-1. The await the winner of game 2 between Salina Central and Newton.

This past weekend the Seaman Vikings tennis team competed as a team for the KSHSAA 5A state tennis championships. The doubles team of Dayton Schneider and Owen Stewart finished 10th.

Congrats to Evan Michalski (77) and Hunter Gerhardt (83) for qualifying individually for the 5A KSHSAA State golf championships. Evan placed in the top 10 (7th) overall.
