The following are changes in SHS Athletics schedules this week due to the heat. Practice changes will be communicated to the team by the coaches.

Girls tennis:
Tues 9/1- JV meet moved to 7 pm
Wed 9/2- V meet at SHS moved to 6 pm
Fri 9/4- JV moved to SHS at 6:30 pm

Girls Golf:
Thur 9/3- JV meet at Western Hills at 9 am

Boys Soccer:
Wed 9/2- at Lansing postponed to 9/21
Thur 9/3- at Home vs Emporia- JV at 6:00 pm, playing one 40 min half with water breaks. Varsity at 7:15 pm with water breaks.

Fall sports parent night at SHS. Great turnout and support from our parents!

Instructional collaboration this morning allowed teachers to review at-risk student data and collaborate on implementing the vision of student individual plans of study (IPS). Each student is require to complete an IPS per state expectation. IPS lessons are delivered during Advisory each Wednesday. During this time students are expected to collect evidence of how they meet the district’s Future Ready Graduate Profile.

Per the SHS handbook policy, students are expected to pass their Advisory in order to participate in our SHS graduation ceremony, thus attendance is VITAL on IPS Wednesday Advisory mornings. Students and teachers did an amazing job today kicking off this important learning endeavor!
