Troy FFA/ Agricultural Program

Troy FFA/ Agricultural Program A wide range of experiences can be had through SAE,
helping students explore their areas of interest in agriculture and careers.

FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agriculture education. Supervised Agricultural Experience is the part of agriscience education that provides students with the opportunity to gain the experience they need for a successful future career. SAEs allow students to develop specific job skills, earn money, and apply concepts taught in agriscience class.

Congrats class of 2026🎉
Tonight, we had the privilege to watch these seniors walk the stage and flip their tassles. Both graduating at the top of their class, we could not be more proud of them and all their accomplishments. Our FFA chapter will miss them dearly but we cannot wait to see the incredible things they will do in their futures (and hope they come back to us as alumni members!)

The Bradford County FFA Banquet was a great evening celebrating the accomplishments and leadership of FFA members across the county!

We were honored to hear from State Representative Tina Pickett, PA FFA State Treasurer Lexi Butler, and business owner Renee of Shores Sisters as they shared their experiences and encouragement with members and guests.

During the evening, we recognized County Degree recipients, including Troy FFA member Kedra Bell. Congratulations to all recipients on this outstanding achievement!

We also presented a token of appreciation to Mr. Hojnowski in congratulations on his retirement and thanked him for his years of dedication and service.

$3,000 in scholarships were also awarded on behalf of Bradford County FFA and Repsol to graduating seniors, including Landon Jenkins.

We also recognized the Outstanding Achievers in the county, an award based on points accumulated through Career and Leadership Development Events throughout the year. Congratulations to:
4th Place – Calvin Waldman
2nd Place – Annika White
1st Place – Landon Jenkins

Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening a success and to all the members, advisors, sponsors, and supporters who continue to make Bradford County FFA strong!

Yesterday, Olivia and Kendall had the opportunity to attend a roundtable discussion focused on youth and the future of agriculture alongside other FFA members from across the Northern Tier. 🌱💙💛

Following the discussion, they competed in a pitch contest — and we are excited to share that they earned 🥇 FIRST PLACE! Their winning idea, the “Show Box for All,” was awarded funding to help put the project into action for our chapter.

We are incredibly proud of their hard work, leadership, and dedication to making agriculture more accessible for everyone.

A huge thank you to the Northern Tier Regional Planning and Development Commission for hosting this great event and supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders!

Wednesday night, the Troy FFA Chapter held our 2026 Chapter Banquet! We had a great evening celebrating the accomplishments, leadership, and hard work of our members throughout the year.

From degree presentations and award recognitions to CDE/LDE achievements and senior recognition, we are incredibly proud of everything our members have accomplished this year. Thank you to our families, supporters, alumni, sponsors, advisor, and community members who continue to support agricultural education and our chapter.

We would also like to thank The Page Family for generously allowing us to host our banquet at their beautiful venue.

A special thank you to Pennsylvania FFA State Treasurer Alexis Butler for joining us as our keynote speaker and sharing words of encouragement with our members.
