Congratulations to our two Career Development Event teams on their outstanding performances at the Pennsylvania FFA State Convention!

🥉 Our Farm Business Management Team earned 3rd Place in the state! Team members included Aubree, Landon, Anson, and Toby.

🏅 Our Small Gas Engines Team, Parker and Calvin, placed 4th in the state!

We had a wonderful week at the Pennsylvania FFA State Convention!

Our members competed in Public Speaking, Farm Business Management, Horse Evaluation, Floriculture, Veterinary Science, and Small Gas Engines. Throughout the week, we also attended general sessions where we celebrated the accomplishments of FFA members from across the state and heard from inspiring speakers, including the Pennsylvania Secretary of Agriculture, Penn State's Dean of Students, and our retiring State FFA Officers.

We are incredibly proud of all of our students for stepping outside their comfort zones, trying new things, and representing our chapter so well.

During Session 2 at State Convention, we were honored to recognize two of our local community members!

🔵 Erin Cole received her Honorary FFA Degree for her outstanding support of our county FFA chapters and agricultural education.

🟡Dean Jackson was honored for 45 years since serving as a Pennsylvania FFA State Officer, recognizing his lasting impact on FFA members and leadership development.

Congratulations, Erin and Dean! Thank you for your dedication to FFA and the next generation of agricultural leaders!

Pennsylvania FFA Proficiency Awards recognize students who develop specialized, career-focused skills through their hands-on Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) programs.

We are so proud of Landon for earning the Pennsylvania FFA Proficiency Award in Agricultural Communications and being named a finalist in Agricultural Processing!🎉

Even more exciting, his record book will now advance to the national level for competition. His hard work, dedication, and passion for agriculture continue to open new doors, and we can't wait to see what he accomplishes next.🟡🔵

We have arrived at Penn State for the 97th Pennsylvania FFA State Convention!!!🎉

Over the next few days our members will be competing in Vet Science🔬, Farm Business Management🌾, Horse Evaluation 🐴, Public Speaking🗣️, Small Engines🧰, and Floriculture🌸!!!! Wish these amazing members the best of luck!! Keep your eye out for updates throughout the week!!

Congrats class of 2026🎉
Tonight, we had the privilege to watch these seniors walk the stage and flip their tassles. Both graduating at the top of their class, we could not be more proud of them and all their accomplishments. Our FFA chapter will miss them dearly but we cannot wait to see the incredible things they will do in their futures (and hope they come back to us as alumni members!)
