You might know Dave Thatcher as the Principal of Edge High School’s Northwest Campus, but his path to education began with coaching.

Dave discovered how much he loved working one-on-one with students and seeing that moment when the light bulb comes on. That passion brought him to Edge, where he’s now been helping students reach their goals for more than eight years.
What does Dave love about Edge? The family feeling at the Northwest Campus and the team that makes coming to work exciting every day.

Edge’s Trivia Night Fundraiser is back! Please join us for an evening of friendly competition, community, and support for Edge High School.

Event Details:

Saturday, September 19, 2026

- 6:00–8:00 p.m.
- Catalina United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall
- 2700 E. Speedway Blvd.
- $25 per person or $150 for a table of up to six people

This event is open to the entire community!

Teams are also invited to choose a fun theme—including a team name, decorations, costumes, or food.

Before Rob Pecharich was Edge High School’s District Principal & Executive Director, he was a high school student himself — unsure of what he wanted to do and what his future might look like.

He found his calling 27 years ago when he started at Edge as a teaching assistant and realized he could help students find some joy in learning.

What kept him here? The students. The staff. And those “aha” moments when students start to see what they’re capable of.
