LIFE's Vintage Housing properties provide affordable housing opportunities for individuals 62 and older with low to moderate incomes. Each one or two bedroom apartment rents for below market rates to qualifying individuals. On August 13, 1961, East German soldiers began laying barbed wire along the border dividing East and West Berlin — with no warning. Families woke up separated. Workers couldn't get to their jobs. Neighbors were cut off from neighbors. The wire eventually became a concrete wall that stood until November 9, 1989. For 28 years, it was the most visible symbol of the Cold War. When it finally fell, people danced in the streets.

Join TAUW, Saturday, August 22, from 8 AM - 12 PM at 6th & Main and help them kick off our 2026 annual fundraising drive.

Price Family Properties will donate $100 (up to $100,000) for every person (and pet) that goes through the balloon arch, so bring your friends, family, and pups!
