Thank you so much to everyone who voted for Family Promise of Tulsa County in the Tulsa World’s Best in the World! We’re absolutely thrilled to share that we’ve made the finalist list in both categories.

Winners will be announced on Sunday, September 20 so we’re crossing our fingers (and maybe a few other things, too!) that we’re named Best Local Charity and Best Non-Profit Event.

Prevention/diversion applications are now CLOSED.

We are working through the applications and will reach out by email if we are able to provide financial assistance. Our application reopens on Tuesday, September 8th
at 6:00 am. Please reach out to 211 for additional resources

Our Future Begins at Home prevention/diversion program is open and accepting applications. We have a VERY LIMITED amount of prevention/diversion funding available for the month of August.

Does your family need financial assistance to keep you in your home, keep utilities on or assistance with move in expenses? (Cases are evaluated on each families specific needs).

Do you have a current a 5-day notice of eviction?
Have you received a cut off notice from your utility provider?

If approved this is a ONE-TIME ONLY assistance program.
Guidelines:
1) Must have child, under 18, living in your home
2) Must have current income to qualify
3) Name must be on the lease or cut off notice
4) Must have a cut off notice or 5-day eviction notice
5) Must be able to contribute to the outstanding balance BEFORE FPTC's payment
6) Must live within Tulsa County

Belk's 2026 Spring Point-of-Sale Campaign raised more than $160,000 to help families experiencing homelessness!

These funds will help a number of Family Promise sites provide homelessness prevention, emergency shelter, and housing support to families when they need it most.

We are simply in AWE of the amazing volunteers from the Faith United Methodist Church, Tulsa Dialogue Class who stepped up to update one of our units and turn a house into a home. The average age of this truly remarkable class is 85 years young and their kindness, energy, and dedication are truly inspiring.

These volunteers have been hard at work since last week, going above and beyond to make sure the next family is welcomed to a comfortable place they can call home.

They’re still finishing a few final touches like adding photos to the walls and completing a couple of small repairs but everything will be ready in time for a family of four to welcome home on Monday morning.

Thank you truly doesn’t come close to the gratitude we feel for each and every one of you. Thank you for your hard work, your compassion, and the love you poured into this space.

One of the many amazing volunteers, Mike, worked all day yesterday and still found the time and energy to celebrate his anniversary with his lovely wife. That says everything about this group.
