🚨 EXCITING UPDATE: Less than 24 hours after blood was placed on board AMR Wichita Falls emergency vehicles, paramedics transfused one unit of red blood cells to a patient in need.
Following the transfusion, the patient’s vital signs improved, and they were transported to a local hospital for continued care.

We just celebrated the launch of this program on Wednesday, and it’s already making a difference for patients across North Texas! ❤️

And the best part? It all started with a blood donor. 🩸

Today marks the 25th anniversary of 9/11/2001, a day that brought people together in an extraordinary way. Regardless of background or circumstance, neighbors helped neighbors, strangers helped strangers, and communities came together to pick up the pieces.

A blood donation is a gift from one person to another, often given to someone we will never meet. It is a tangible way to help a neighbor, support a stranger, and be there when someone needs us most.

Twenty-five years later, may we continue to carry forward the spirit of unity, courage, and service that emerged from one of our nation’s darkest days.

We remember. We honor. We give. We never forget. ❤️
