TOUCHDOWN! It’s officially the start of Fall and football season in the United States — but here’s what Air EMS' version of a perfect looks like!

✅ Another successful mission, this time landing at PHNL — Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, aka Honolulu International Airport.

Originally opened in 1927 as John Rodgers Airport, the airfield was named for pioneering U.S. Navy aviator Commander John Rodgers. The airport came under U.S. military control during World War II before being returned to the Territory of Hawaii and renamed Honolulu Airport in 1947. As transpacific aviation rapidly expanded in the decades that followed, HNL grew into one of the Pacific’s major aviation gateways. Today, the airport encompasses three terminals and four active land runways — including its famous offshore Reef Runway.

For Air EMS, PHNL represents one of thousands of commercial and general aviation airports around the world that our dedicated teams have flown to and from while conducting fixed-wing and rotor-wing air medical missions for government and commercial clients for more than 15 years.

Air EMS is seeking highly motivated Nationally Registered Paramedics (NRPs) to support our work with the U.S. Marshals Service’s Justice Prisoner Air Transportation System (JPATS).

✅ This unique position places you aboard fixed-wing aircraft, providing emergency medical support during federal prisoner transportation missions throughout the United States. The duty location is Will Rogers Airport (KOKC) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

✅ This is not routine EMS. Every day brings a new destination, new challenges, and a special purpose - supporting the U.S. Marshals’ safe and secure transportation of prisoners on behalf of the federal judiciary, U.S. Marshals district offices, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
