"Firefighters kept busy this morning due to several suspicious fires"
First fire occurred around 4am, when Firefighters with Tulsa Fire Department TFD Engine 3 responded to a vehicle fire near Pine and Utica... (North Wheeling)
As Firefighters were dealing with it, another fire was reported near the RailRoad Tracks and North Wheeling, just a quarter of a Mile South.
Firefighters with Station 15, Station 10 Responded, although an Abandoned RV was on fire near a building, getting to it was a challenge, so Firefighters with Station 19 responded with a Grass Rig. It was extinguished
Just as Firefighters were wrapping things up, additional calls came in of a Building and a Trash Truck on Fire near North Lewis and East King. A full assignment was dispatched.
We arrived just before Firefighters and captured the events. A Trash truck was involved with the main body of the fire located in and near the Cab, just across the way, the side of a building was on fire.
Firefighters with Station 16, Station 3, and Station 7 arrived quickly, and began fire attack operations. Both fires were extinguished quickly.
A body shop although having some smoke and exterior damage, would be okay...
Just after 5am, a 5th fire call was dispatched for a house fire near Admiral and Delaware, where an abandoned house had smoke billowing from it. Firefighters again arrived and quickly extinguished it.
Tulsa Fire Marshal's investigating all Wednesday morning fires as suspicious and believed to be set by an arsonist. Their investigation os ongoing as they look for a suspect or suspects, as they collect security video from businesses, just as investigating all suspicious fires, with a sixth being reported near 4700 South Santa Fe when someone set a mailbox on fire.

Thankfully, citizens seen the smoke and flames and called the fires in almost immediately, as the response of the fire department were able to arrive and extinguish the blazed before they could be outta control and threatening more structures... Great work by all of those involved 🫡💪
