Restore Hope Ministries

Restore Hope Ministries Preventing homelessness, reducing hunger, and restoring hope For many families, the road of life has become hazardous and impassable.

Financial burdens, hunger, emotional stresses and spiritual emptiness have become familiar scenery along the way. Restore Hope Ministries offers these families - a Road to Hope. Since 1978, Restore Hope Ministries has been a Road to Hope for many families headed down a dangerous and difficult road. Our Mission is to restore families in crisis to economic and spiritual vitality by being faithful to

the call of God to "feed the hungry, clothe the naked, welcome the stranger, care for the fatherless, and heal the broken in spirit".

There's a new song by the group MercyMe Music (Insta = ) called "Make It Well". It references the old hymn "It is Well (With My Soul)". The lead singer, Bart Millard has shared in interviews that when we are going through a storm in life, we aren't always at a place that we can say "It is well, with my soul". Because it isn't always. But if we hold on to faith, and ask our Savior to sit with us and weep as we walk through the struggle, until we can say "When sea billows roll, It is Well, With My Soul".

Faith doesn't mean we don't walk through struggles or the storms don't rage around us. Faith means we hold on to our Lord WHILE we walk through the storm, depending on Him and not ourselves. Whatever you are going through, ask Him to Make It Well so that you can be at peace and say It IS Well.

This year's Point-in-Time Count results reflect meaningful progress across Tulsa, including a significant reduction in unsheltered homelessness and more neighbors successfully connected to housing.

We’re grateful for the many outreach workers, shelters, housing providers, case managers, and community partners helping make that possible.

At the same time, the overall number of people experiencing homelessness remained largely unchanged, reminding us that many households continue facing housing instability even as others are successfully rehoused.

That’s why prevention matters.

Keeping families and individuals stably housed before homelessness occurs must remain a critical part of Tulsa’s long-term strategy.

Thanks to our friends at Housing Solutions for putting the data together in a easy to read format.

Today, we honor and thank the many Americans who have given the ultimate sacrifice in support and defense of our nation. We remember their families, the Gold Star Families, who forever have an empty chair at the table.

We love that The Oklahoman talked with our friends at Skyline Urban Outreach in . In addition to their food pantry, they have a mobile pantry, eye clinic, clothing resources and an incredible garden!

As one of the nation's poorest states, Oklahoma is expected to be hit hard by new SNAP eligibility restrictions. Food pantries will need to grow.
