Today, we honor Juneteenth—a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality.

As we reflect on this important moment in our nation's history, we also recognize the strength of the families and communities who continue to build brighter futures for the next generation.

At EIS, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and every family deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.

At EIS, there's a volunteer opportunity for everyone.

- Volunteer once or volunteer regularly
- Bring your coworkers, church group, club, or family
- Daytime, evening, and weekend opportunities available
- Help provide essentials for babies and toddlers who need your help

Last year, EIS volunteers contributed nearly 25,000 hours of service—the equivalent of more than $898,000 in staffing support.

Baby Blue is on the move!

We’ll be visiting locations across the Tulsa metro area with diapers, wipes, and formula for children 5 and under.

For first-time visits: please bring a photo ID for yourself and identification for your child (i.e. birth certificate, vaccination records, hospital footprints.) Social Security cards cannot be accepted.
Returning visitors only need their own ID.

Because of the generosity of our community:

“To interview a mom or dad on their first visit to EIS… they’re trying so hard to be the best parents, but just need the assistance we offer.”

That heart for families is what makes volunteers like Teri so special.

After retiring in 2020, Teri found her way to EIS and has spent the last five years welcoming families, listening to their stories, helping assess their needs, and making sure every parent who walks through our doors feels seen and supported.

She’s especially touched by grandparents raising grandchildren and enjoys encouraging parents of multiples—because she understands that every family’s journey is unique.

Thank you, Teri, for sharing your time, compassion, and kindness with the families we serve. We’re so grateful to have you as part of the EIS family.

Donation Drive Highlight 💙

A huge thank you to Sixt Rent a Car for hosting a donation drive to support local babies and families!

Because of their generosity, EIS received:

👶 1,373 diapers
🧻 17 packs of wipes
🧸 23 pounds of baby items

These donations will go directly to families facing crisis right here in our community.

We're grateful for partners like Sixt who are helping ensure Tulsa's littlest residents have the essentials they need to thrive.
