We had a great time on Wednesday on our Field Trip With A Forester! Lucky us, we got TWO Foresters- thank you Julie and Shane for your time and expertise! In the third picture, you can see Julie counting the rings of the core sample she took from a tree, and in the last picture you can see it next to the book; if you want to see it in person, swing on by the library to check it out! And, for interested patrons, I Can Name 50 Trees Today is in the catalog and available to borrow!

Have you signed up for our Nature Writing Workshop with Andrea Lani? It's happening Saturday, September 19th from 1-4 PM. Participants will come away with the starts of several pieces of writing and a range of prompts and writing exercises that can be used any time. Writers of poetry, fiction, or nonfiction with any level of experience are welcome. Space is limited, but there is still room! Email Tori at [email protected] to sign up.
