After a whole year of waiting, the Twisp Library Friends Book Sale is back! Come get books at the Methow Valley Community Center gym, Friday, September 4th, 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm and Saturday, September 5th, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. All proceeds support the Twisp Library and Methow Valley Community Center.

🌱It's the time of year to save seeds! If the plants in your garden have produced more seeds than you need, please consider donating some to the Twisp Seed Library. 🌼

📣This year, 328 people have gotten 1473 packets of seeds from the Twisp Library!🥰

Our seed library was mainly stocked through generous donations from the Twisp Library Friends and the Methow Seed Collective. 🙏 But we also depend on seeds donated by community members! You can bring seeds to the Twisp Library any time during open hours. Thank you!

The world lost a treasure today. Rest well, Dolly. She will leave an indelible mark on the country music scene as well as the community of readers who adored her. Her Imagination Library put free books in the hands of children around the world, as she dedicated her later years to promoting reading and early childhood literacy.

🌻It's been so much fun posting pictures of Summer Library Program prize winners this week! 🎉

😎The numbers are in: This summer, 176 people logged their reading and did activities to earn raffle tickets and prizes at the Twisp Library. And 866 people attended 24 different library events with us around the community!

We couldn't do this without the support of some absolutely WONDERFUL partners: Thank you to the Twisp Library Friends for their financial support and for showing up time and time again to help out with library programs. And thank you to these fantastic local businesses and organizations for their generous donation of prizes to the Summer Library Program at the Twisp Library:
